Duties Description This position may be in-person, or partially remote and partially in-person, however this is subject to change.

In the Registrations, Accounting and Support Bureau, under the supervision of a Taxpayer Services Specialist 2, the incumbent may perform the following essential functions. Depending on the assignment, activities may include but are not limited to the following:?
• Assist in the development and writing of business rules, requirements, and execution of test conditions by participating in a range of test activities from preparing test documents and conditions, reporting test results to analyzing defects and recommending solutions.
• Develop and conduct presentations and webinars to internal and external audiences as well as on the job training internally providing guidance and education on online services account creation, maintenance, and functionality, including system changes and enhancements.
• Work with employees at all levels and perform analysis of taxpayer reported issues, system issues or limitations and recommend solutions to resolve the issue.
• Create and analyze various reports, using information retrieved from various departmental systems and software to enter data, gather information, produce reports, access files and databases.
• Communicate verbally and in writing; in a clear, concise, and professional manner, with all levels of staff throughout the Department and other agencies, taxpayers and their representatives, internal and external customers and with third party vendors.
• Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, a strong work ethic, a commitment to the success of assignments, and the ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Collaborate with counterparts or organizations both inside and outside of the Department.
• Demonstrates acceptable knowledge and skill in the use of prescribed software, department systems, defect tracking, and other tool effectively complete assignments.
• Perform with the highest level of integrity, acting within the department’s code of conduct; state ethics laws; and department policies.
• Adhere to the Department’s time and attendance rules and regulations.
