Minimum Qualifications Transfer

Must have one year of permanent service in a title eligible for transfer under § 70.1 of the Civil Service Law;

Must have one year of permanent service in a title within two (2) salary grades of G-25, and have a passing score and current status on the Licensed Psychologist eligible list to be eligible for transfer under § 70.4 of the Civil Service Law;

To qualify, candidates must be licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State. Duties Description As a Licensed Psychologist, you would supervise and/or provide professional psychological services. In addition to assessment and treatment, your duties may include:

• Clinical leadership.
• Program Management.
• Psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, sex offense treatment.
• Forensic or court ordered assessment, treatment and expert testimony.
• Specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, education)
• Design and application of behavioral technology and other specialized psychological interventions.
• Crisis intervention.
• Training.
• Peer review.

Additional Comments • Please note, the posted Salary includes an approved Increased Hiring Rate to Job Rate ($111,111), an approved Geographic Differential of $20,000, and a Downstate Adjustment of $3,026.
