Minimum Qualifications Transfer Qualifications: Under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law: You must be a current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent service in a title eligible for transfer under section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Such titles include but are not limited to: Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant (Calculations), Office Assistant 2 (Stores/Mail). The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.

Duties Description The incumbent will perform responsibilities related to vacancy postings, reports, canvasses, and mailbox management in support of Human Resources Management. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee the posting responses Outlook mailboxes and take appropriate action on responses for vacancies.
- Coordinate postings for ITS on both StateJobsNY and the internal job posting site.
- Run waiver end date reports daily and provide updates to all staff as changes occur.
- Manage all clearance codes for recruitment underway for ITS.
- Provide additional reports on a biweekly and as-needed basis.
- Oversee eligible list certification actions, canvassing, and
acceptors lists.
- Assist HR Specialists in the management of decentralized
eligible lists (i.e. Professional Engineers, Plant Utilities titles).
- Manage any re-employment lists in a timely and accurate
manner, including canvassing candidates and communicating with the Department of Civil Service when necessary.
- Run various reports (i.e., appointment end dates, position end dates, CCX10) and coordinate any necessary needed action with HR Specialists.
- Perform additional responsibilities in support of the Eligible List Unit as assigned.
