Must be current in certification of AMAP, Promote, First Aid, CPR and all SLMS online Trainings.
Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under the Supervision of the DA3, the DA2 will serves at the backup in the absence of a DA3 in ensuring appropriate coverage and utilization of staff, in addition, may be assigned the following:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Developmental Assistant 2 who fulfills this position will be expected to complete all duties of the Developmental Assistant 2, with the following additional duties and responsibilities:
• Evaluates staffs needs based on program objectives.
• Instructs mid-level supervisors as to the tasks to be performed and provides them with written/verbal guidelines.
• Reviews, approves or modifies as needed schedules/assignments developed by mid-level supervisors.
• Reviews the use of overtime and revises assignments as necessary
• Maintains Mandatory/Voluntary OT rosters
• Ensures staff comply with OT Policies/Procedures
• Acquires/completes OT assessments forms
• Assist in ensuring sitter service is in place when needed
• Conducts unannounced visits to work sites
• May cover another DA 2 in a group home when needed
