Salary RangeFrom $48881 to $59542 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Current NYS Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service as a Program Aide, SG13.
Transfer Opportunity: Current NYS employee with one or more years of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a title allocated to a SG11 or above, and eligible for transfer to Program Aide, SG13, under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The Program Aide will report to the Director of Personnel within the Office of IT Services’ Human Resources Office. The incumbent will coordinate recruitment tracking, manage recruitment activities, such as interview scheduling, coordination of new hire paperwork processing, monitor and manage HR shared mailboxes and report preparation and updates.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Managing Personnel Activities such as preparing HR recruitment documents, scheduling candidate interviews, performing reference checks, coordinating the review of various Personnel hiring SharePoint tracking sites.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining ITS specific mailbox (Separation notices, performance evaluation tracking, probation date tracking, Reasonable Accommodation requests)
• Efficiently utilize program applications in Microsoft Office Suite to create and analyze tables and charts.
• Tracks and prepares submissions of EHS examinations for Sections 71, 72.5 and 73 of Civil Service Law.
• Maintain the visitor management system.
• Process various reports and provide updates as changes occur.
• Draft reports to document analyses and procedures.
• Interact with customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner, raise concerns or challenges as appropriate to supervisory staff.
• Perform tasks in an efficient, timely and safe manner.
• Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Additional Comments Full-time, permanent.
NOTE ON TELECOMMUTING: ITS employees may be approved for a maximum of 50% telecommuting, however, they are required to apply and obtain approval through management in accordance with ITS Telecommuting Program.
