Minimum Qualifications "Permanent: NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service as a Program Aide, G-13 or a current NYS employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a title allocated to G-11 or higher, and eligible for transfer to Program Aide under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Provisional Candidates: Current DOH employee and 1 year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a G-5 or higher clerical, secretarial, keyboarding or paraprofessional title set in an office environment. Preferred Qualifications:

Good organizational and communication skills. Some experience working with advisory committees, or other large groups representing diverse interests. Some familiarity with private or government health insurance programs and/or the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.

Duties Description Develops, maintains, and updates database programs and methods of data analysis for agency programs. Monitors and evaluates data for deficiencies and assists in correcting problems. Collects, tabulates, and analyzes data. Draws conclusions from analyzed data and makes appropriate recommendations. Assists in monitoring compliance with administrative and programmatic financial requirements. Gathers, reviews, and evaluates information required by professionals to conduct financial and program audits. Assists in the preparation, review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and other documents specific to the assignment. Liaisons with various agency program staff and other State, local, and federal agencies. Meeting/WebEx scheduling for larger meetings between NYSOH/OHIP multiple groups, KPMG Auditors; Mail - If something needs to be shipped out from our office this individual can do this, sorting; General Phone Inquiries - handle and route as needed; Assist with EDCC process; Coordinate office supply order; Assist Directors on Onboarding new hires; Assist in Mail Merges -NYSOH HR; Letter Correspondence – Word (internal/external customers); Calendar assistance; Track Vacation Schedules; Backup for NYSOH general phone line; Filing/Shredding
