Salary RangeFrom $51711 to $62806 Annually
Minimum Qualifications The selected candidate must be eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law or reachable on the appropriate eligible list for this title and location in accordance with the provisions of Civil Service Law, Rules and Regulations.
Duties Description This position may be in-person, or partially remote and partially in-person however this is subject to change.
The incumbent must be able to perform a variety of clerical, administrative and supervisory activities that support the work of the Bureau. These duties will range from administrative and analytical support duties for the bureau, as well as direct support duties for Bureau Executives.
The incumbent must be able to perform the following essential functions:
• Exercise good judgment as well as maintain confidentiality of information
• Place orders for toners and office supplies
• Multi-task and prioritize assignments; organize workload and files for all assignments
• Be detail-oriented and follow through with all aspects of assignments through completion
• Answer questions/inquiries from employees and/or provide direction to obtain answers
• Use and update various databases and/or spreadsheets for tracking
• Proficient in Microsoft applications including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to process forms and transactions for employees
• Communicate effectively via telephone, email, correspondence, face to face, etc. with all staff and the public
• Train, supervise, and evaluate assigned staff to prioritize work assignments and monitor workflow
• Create and maintain office procedures, create various reports, spreadsheets, and charts to assist bureau directors in their administration of the bureau
• Create and update mail groups, schedule meetings and monitor email using Outlook and Webex
• Prepare helpdesk tickets, access requests, and maintain LDAP roles for new and existing staff
• Adhere to the Department’s time and attendance rules and regulations
