Minimum Qualifications In order to be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.

Duties Description This position is located within the Federal Project Setup & Control Unit.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Clear billing suspense items which have not been reimbursed, working in order of highest to lowest dollars, between each billing, and update the billing suspense spreadsheet to reflect the action taken for each item;

• Create a new billing suspense spreadsheet weekly;

• Daily recording of any toll credits earned or used in the toll credit ledger that is reported to Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) monthly;

• Monitoring and tracking of toll credits earned or used for four FHWA programs;

• Daily distribution of project modifications & agreements;

• Assist with federal fiscal year-end activities;

• Cross train with other Office Assistant 3’s in the Unit;

• Other related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.

Additional Comments *Telecommuting: The Department’s current telecommuting agreement is valid through January 31, 2023 and is subject to extension beyond that date.
