Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Reassignment Qualifications:
Current Department of Labor employees only, with at least one year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service in a Property Manager 2; if you have less than one year, you must be reachable on the current Property Manager eligible list for this location, if one exists.

52.7 Non-Competitive Promotion (NCP) Qualifications:
To be eligible for NCP, candidates must be in the Department of Labor promotion field and have one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55 b/c service as a Property Manager 1. If 3 or fewer qualified Department of Labor Property Manager 1 title respond to this posting, Civil Service may approve the permanent appointment of one of the qualified Property Manager 1 without further examination.

Note: Non-competitive refers to not competing in an examination; the appointment will be competitive.

Provisional Qualifications:
You must have seven years of experience renting, leasing, or managing business properties on a large scale. A bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of the experience.
The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently.

70.1 Transfer Qualifications:
One year of permanent or contingent-permanent as a Grade 20 or higher determined to be similar by Civil Service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: As a Property Manager 2 in the Business Administration Bureau, the incumbent will independently perform the full range of property management duties for Department of Labor properties. The incumbent will create space requirement determinations, plan office designs using AutoCAD, prepare schedules, budgets, cost verifications and lease activities. The incumbent will also be responsible for project and contract management, construction oversight and management, generating draft leases and tracking special projects statewide. It is strongly recommended the incumbent know how to read and understand construction blueprints. Overnight travel, which may entail multiple night stays due to ongoing operational demands, as well as travel to other locations statewide will be required. Supervision and training of subordinate DOL and contract staff will be required.
