Duties Description Under the supervision of a Recreation Complex Manager, the Athletics Complex staff will:
• Performing general building maintenance, including cleaning the exterior of the complex daily and maintaining the cleanliness of the inside of the building as well.
• Removing Litter/debris around the building as well as maintaining and sanitizing locker rooms (cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, water fountains, window cleaning, hosing down floors and shower area).
• Monitoring the fitness room, which includes checking-in fitness passes, issuing daily guest passes, and cleaning and sanitizing all fitness equipment in the fitness room.
• Assisting with daily reporting of visitor passes and other features from RecTrac.
• Greeting the public, answering questions about programs and classes offered, and assisting with any inquiries from park patrons.
• Assisting with all programs in the complex by setting-up, breaking down, completing registrations, cleaning areas, putting on wristbands, and other duties as needed.
• Ensuring the safety of all patrons in the Athletics Complex by preventing and responding to emergencies.
• Assisting in other areas of the park as needed and performing other duties as assigned.
Additional Comments OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally necessary.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
• Must be willing to support operational needs and special projects throughout the NYC Region as needed.
