Minimum Qualifications No civil service minimum qualifications - see the operational needs in the "additional comments" below.

Duties Description Under the supervision of the Cultural Supervisor, the Cultural Department Team Member duties include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with program support including set-up, breakdown, outreach, registration, and administrative duties for classes, concerts, and special events.
• Assisting with the Summer Camp by helping cultural staff with open houses, enrollment, counselor training, and activities.
• Greeting the public and staffing the information desk, including answering questions about programs and classes offered and other inquiries from park patrons.
• Assisting with the content creation of the complex such as assisting with creating flyers for programs and events, archiving photos, and ensuring all photography equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
• Assist with monitoring and daily upkeep of the Community Garden and weekly compost removal.
• Performing general building maintenance, including sanitizing and monitoring the facilities, removing trash, picking up supplies, and maintaining the cultural program equipment.
• Ensuring the information desk and kiosks are up to date with current programming and upcoming events.
• Assisting with office duties such as answering phones, distributing instructor sign in sheets, registering patrons for classes, and providing updates about the weekly events to Administration.
• Assisting in other areas of the park as needed and performing other duties as assigned.

Additional Comments OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally necessary.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
• Must be willing to support operational needs and special projects throughout the NYC Region as needed.
