Duties Description Job Duties: Job duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with processing requests and payments for supplies or services needed Statewide by WCB, according to State and Agency policy and procedures; tasks include but are not limited to:
• Obtaining approvals and justifications for purchase requests received
• Researching vendors for available products and to compare prices
• Processing payments using a state Procurement credit card, or “P-Card”
• Addressing and resolving invoice discrepancies or overcharges with vendors
• Reconciling P-card purchases timely in SFS
• Maintaining files for vendors and invoices to support payments
• Monitoring and managing email in the shared Purchasing Unit inbox in cooperation with other Purchasing Unit staff
• Setting up tax exempt accounts with new vendors
• Handling order returns as needed
• Assisting with fiscal year end tasks
• Assisting with updating procedures
• Attending trainings held by OGS and OSC on procurement, and
• Timely completion of all annual mandatory training courses.
