Minimum Qualifications • In title Treatment Team Leader, Grade M-1
–OR –
• Eligible for a 70.1 or 52.6 transfer by way of current permanent status in a title deemed comparable to Treatment Team Leader by the Department of Civil Service [must also be within two S-grades or one M- grade of grade M-1 (25)]

Duties Description RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES to include but are not limited to:
• Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for residences/worksites within assigned area
• Enhance monitoring of new employee evaluations and competencies
• Provide training to new employees and new supervisors



• Provide insight into overtime, FTEs, staffing allocation while working closely with HR
• Provide reports as requested by the Director, Deputy Director and DDPSIVs
• Collaborate with the Union on staffing issues
• Coordinate roll out of the e-scheduler
• Conduct site visits to IRAs within the DDSO region, including during off hours
• Ensure appropriate, timely and quality services are provided in accordance with all applicable standards and guidelines.
• Assist with management decisions regarding the oversight of staffing resources, including recruitment, retention, developing/implementing balanced schedules, overtime management
• Assist with development of policies and ensure contracts, policies and procedures are followed
• Work closely with the treatment team leaders and DDPSIVs to ensure the health and safety minimums are maintained in the IRAs and Day Habilitation Programs
• Represent management in grievance hearings related to contract violations
• Maintain the staff seniority data base
• Participate in a variety of committees
• Monitor the DDSOO’s implementation of the Levels of Supervision/Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) survey process and provide support as needed
• Attend recruitment events
• Assist HR with administering the Direct Support Civil Service exams
• Coordinate the Employee of the Year and DSP Recognition events
• Administrator on Duty (AOD): function as an AOD on a rotational basis; Coordinate AOD coverage and training; serve as an AOD support during peak hours such as shift transitions which will mitigate/reduce the volume of calls going to the AOD.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Additional Comments • Must be cleared by the NYS Central Register for Child Abuse and Maltreatment, if position requires working with minors and not previously cleared.
