Minimum Qualifications REASSIGNMENT QUALIFICATIONS
Current Department of State employees with one year of permanent, contingent permanent, or 55 B/C service as a Program Aide, if less than one year, you must be currently reachable on the Administrative Aide/Agency Program Aide eligible list for the Albany location if one exists.
70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS
One year of permanent, contingent permanent, or 55 B/C service allocated to a Grade 11 or higher eligible for transfer and determined to be similar by Civil Service.

55 B/C QUALIFICATIONS
Current permanent non-competitive state employees certified eligible for the 55 B/C program under the Governor's Program to Hire Persons/Veterans with Disabilities pursuant to Section 55 B/C of the Civil Service Law will also be considered. To be considered, you must provide a copy of your letter of eligibility with your response.
Duties Description The Program Aide duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist Contract Management Specialists in developing boilerplate contracts for each grant administered by the Division.
• Ensure that contract language and requirements are accurate, consistent, and in compliance with Divisions, Department, and State requirements.
• Develop draft budgets and work plans for new grant awards.
• Prepare, review and process new contracts for approval by
Contract Management Specialist 1.
• Prepare, review and process contract-related documents, including amendments, extensions, closeouts, vendor responsibility, status reports, MWBE forms, contact update forms, CAUF, ruminations, rescinds, and assignments.
• Assist with grantees and program staff with resolving changes or amendments to executed contracts.
• Perform administrative review of payment requests received and verify that payment request packages are properly completed and certified.
• As needed, work with Contract Management Specialist 1, fiscal staff, program staff and/or grantees to resolve outstanding financial issues.
• Review OPDCI’s contract tracking system to determine what necessary follow-up is required on outstanding contracts and related documents.
• Contact municipal and/or local governments to obtain missing forms.
• Provide direction and assistance to grantees regarding status of contract-related documents, completion of form, and assists grantees with submitting accurate and timely information.
• Communicate with program staff regularly to coordinate program and admin activities.
• Provide detailed reports for DOS Leadership and Executive Chamber on the status of current and past contracts.
• Collect and analyze statistics and information
• Develop, implement methods, and develop tabulations of data analysis
• Draw conclusions from analyzed data
•Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
