Minimum Qualifications CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEES:
Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 7 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Provisional Pending Examination (Promotional):
Current New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) employee with three months or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to Grade 6 or higher.

Duties Description The incumbents of these positions will provide administrative support to the investigators in their respective area. Each will work closely with Licensing, Enforcement and Quality Assurance units to report any violations of suspicious activity of cannabis licensees.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Work with staff to support the reporting and collection for investigations.
• Assist in the preparation, review, evaluation and analysis of a variety of data and reports from investigations.
• Review documents received from registered organizations to ensure documents are complete. Reach out to organization for additional information where applicable.
• Conduct research as requested by Unit staff, being sure to adhere to deadlines identified.
• Track inspections and assist with preparing written correspondence to registered organizations summarizing audit findings.
