Duties Description Assist engineers of the Energy & Decarbonization Section in the development and administration of various energy & carbon reduction programs and construction projects. This will include construction project management duties, administrative support, product research, scheduling, financial analysis, purchasing and other activities in support of our energy and carbon reduction projects and programs. Duties will include environmental analysis of various equipment, material, and construction procedure options to minimize embodied carbon and maximize energy performance of Departmental construction and maintenance projects. Other support functions will be assigned to assist with development and implementation of Departmental policies and procedures towards improving the energy efficiency and lowering the carbon footprint of the Department. Incumbent will navigate uneven terrain at construction sites and occasionally travel statewide to Department facilities as required.
Additional Comments Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain. Travel may be required. Overtime may be required. Overnight travel may be required. Telecommuting may be available, will be discussed at interview.
