Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Psychologist.

Duties Description POSITION DESCRITPION: As a Licensed Psychologist, you would provide professional psychological services to individuals in the Bronx/Manhattan. This Licensed Psychologist will carry a residential caseload of 20-25.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Provide clinical supervision, coverage, and overnight of master’s level Psychology staff in Metro New York DDSO.
• Complete psychological assessments, administer psychological tests and determine results
• Conduct follow-up psychotherapy or crisis counseling services for individuals and small groups
• Conduct required trainings for other psychologists and agency staff
• Cover the day-to-day psychological needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in State Operations and in the community, who are particularly vulnerable and need crisis and ongoing psychological support.
• Developing and implementing clinical treatment plans
• Coordinate care among DDSOO TEAM members and individuals’ families where indicated
• Assist with Central Office initiatives including the Flow Initiative, PROMOTE integration/modeling, including assisting with enhancing utilization of the Electronic Health Record
• Participate in relevant committees and project groups.

Participation in the Administrator on Call (AOD) system is required. Occasional evening/weekend hours to attend meetings may be required.

NOTE: Travel within the catchment area will be required in the performance of the duties of the position.

• Please note, the posted Salary includes an approved Increased Hiring Rate to Job Rate ($111,111), an approved Geographic Differential of $20,000, and a Downstate Adjustment of $3,026.

• The assignment of PS&T employees will be made in accordance with any agreed upon Memorandum of Understanding between PEF and the local DDSO regarding the posting of job vacancies
