Duties Description The candidate selected for this position will act as the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional
(QIDP) Supervisor. The incumbent’s duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Train clinical staff on the Medicaid Compliance relating to Home and Community Based Waiver
Services involving residential habilitation services.
• Monitor the process of life planning from IAM Assessments, training, implementation, and
documentation of residential habilitation services.
• Train clinicians to conduct record reviews for plans of care for assigned caseload both in SOIRAs
and SOICF and conduct periodic record reviews as lead.
• Review schedules for LP meetings and keeps track monthly, oversees that all required Life Plan
meetings are scheduled and facilitated.
• Review LPs and other clinical documents for consistency, maintains track of residential tracking
established to ensure Medicaid billing compliance for residential habilitation services.
• Conduct random audits of records and coordination of services for individuals on a periodic basis.
• Adjust caseloads and fill in during scheduled time off of subordinate staff when necessary.
• Ensure requested documents are supplied to the Medicaid Liaison.
• Ensure that records are filed electronically for each individual in the Electronic Health System.
• Oversee the archiving of records is standard across the DDSO with residential teams.
• Interface with the Revenue Support Field Office when necessary.
• Coordinate with residential teams on individuals’ matters, participates in ongoing training.
• Keeps schedules, reviews time off request and submits time sheets for subordinate staff.
• Completes performance evaluation for staff supervised.
• Liaise as part of referral and placement process for individuals entering State Operations
placement.
