Minimum Qualifications Minimum qualifications for non-competitive appointment:
Three years of relevant experience.*
*Substitution: Certification (such as the International Association of Administrative Professionals’ Certified Administrative Professional), diploma, or associate’s degree in office administration, secretarial science, administrative assistance, paralegal, business technology, or office technology may substitute for two years of experience.
Duties Description • Provide confidential support to the Deputy Commissioner for Natural Resources, and the Strategic Planning and Performance Management Office, as well as other Deputy Commissioner as assigned.
• Handle Confidential Information
• Schedule and arrange meetings, conferences and presentations
• Make travel arrangements and process expense reports on FMIS
• Transmit instructions from Deputy Commissioner’s to staff and monitor requests.
• Review incoming correspondence and determine significance. Distribute as appropriate and follow up as necessary.
• Edit and review any division correspondence received for Deputy Commissioner’s signature.
• Receive, disseminate, and track proposed regulations, through Executive, from the Division of Marine Resources, Division of Lands and Forests and the Division of Fish and Wildlife.
• Assist with Executive interaction with the Office of Information Technology Services
