Transfer eligible under Section 70.1 - permanent competitive service as an Accountant Aide, Accountant Aide Trainee 2, Business Document Specialist 2, Stores & Mail Operations Supervisor, Principal Mail and Supply Clerk, Principal Offset Print Machine Operator, Principal Stores Clerk, Program Aide, Administrative Assistant 1.

Minimum qualifications for provisional appointment:
One year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a G-5 or higher clerical, secretarial, keyboarding or paraprofessional** title set in an office environment. Qualifying titles are available at: www.cs.ny.gov/examannouncements/announcements/00340titles.cfm.† Only the title(s) listed are qualifying for provisional appointment.
**Only paraprofessional titles in an office environment will be considered qualifying. Service in a direct care title is not qualifying experience. Examples of non-qualifying titles are: Developmental Disabilities Secure Care Treatment Aide 1; Direct Support Assistant; Food Service Worker 1; Licensed Practical Nurse; Mental Health Therapy Aide; and Security Services Assistant.
Duties Description The duties will include the administration of the posting process ensuring all vacancy postings are posted timely and accurately on websites. All postings need to be tracked and HR Specialists advises when closed.
Monitor Posting Response and Personnel mailbox. Type appointment letters, VRWS memos, retirement letters and certificates, leave letters and other correspondence. Distribute copies with appropriate enclosures/attachments.
Handle NYS Employee Retirement registration enrollment process. Scheduling New Employee Orientation and track new employee paperwork. Run Clearance codes on a regular basis. Send probation reports to Division/Regions, monitor due date/status; send out and log incoming reports into HRIS.
Other various assignments will be assigned to assist HR Specialists.
