Minimum Qualifications The qualifications include at least four years investigative experience. Candidates should also have exhibited demonstrated leadership, management, and supervisory potential. Additional consideration will be given to applicants that have a training and teaching experience and familiarity complaint intake processing procedures. The Senior Investigator (SI) is the sixth-level leadership and supervisory level role (under the chief, assistant chief, director, deputy chief investigator, and assistant deputy chief investigator) responsible for overseeing activities within the Intake, Training, and Analysis Division (ITAD). The SI will report directly to the Deputy Chief Investigator in ITAD. This SI position will be responsible to serve as OSI’s Senior Investigator in charge of the management of technology systems, including but not limited to: ACISS, ACCURINT, CELLEBRITE, JPAY, SECURUS, and E-Justice. The position will also be in charge of all background investigations requested of OSI. All candidates must possess strong computer knowledge with the ability to learn how to administrate various investigative programs. A SI in this Division will be expected to display strong leadership skills, good verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organization and time management capabilities, and an eagerness to support an expanding mission space.
OSI investigative staff must possess, at a minimum, knowledge of the applicable laws, the highest levels of behavior including personal integrity and ethics; fairness; character; judgment; attitude; and respect for and ability to work with others inside and outside OSI. Duties Description The Office of Special Investigations (OSI) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration to serve as a Senior Investigator (SI) in the Intake, Training, and Analysis Division (ITAD). This SI position will be responsible to serve as OSI’s Senior Investigator in charge of the management of technology systems, including but not limited to: ACISS, ACCURINT, CELLEBRITE, JPAY, SECURUS, and E-Justice. The position will also be in charge of all background investigations requested of OSI. ITAD specializes in the analysis of criminal and violent-extremist related intelligence for OSI investigations, responding to tips, allegations, and grievances from the OSI intake phone-line, oversight over OSI’s fleet management and oversight for all OSI associated training

Additional Comments Location: Albany, based on the needs of OSI. Travel is required.
