Public candidates: Active list candidate on the New York State Department of Civil Service’s Professional Career Opportunities (PCO) eligible list #26-570 with a score of 100 or higher OR qualified 55B/C candidate in possession of a Bachelor’s or higher degree.
Knowledge of the Statewide Financial Systems (SFS), experience developing and implementing performance management systems, experience with the development and implementation of the state/federal recruitment process, experience with Microsoft Excel skills.
Duties Description The Health Program Administrator position will be responsible for: Planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of health-related measures to meet the program's goals and objectives; Develop and implement strategies to identify, develop and retain key employees; Provide support for budget, contracts, and financial management; Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote fairness and equity; Managing and producing correspondence on behalf of the program; Develop and implement performance management systems and plans.
Additional Comments Permanent, competitive, full-time. Two year traineeship leading to a G18. Transfer candidates may be asked for SSN to verify title history and eligibility.

For new State employees appointed to graded positions, the annual salary is the hiring rate (beginning of the Salary Range) of the position.
