Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:

You will provide professional nursing services appropriate to individuals served by the program to which you are assigned. Services may include, but are not limited to, nursing interventions and their documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Nursing assessments.
• Development of detailed nursing care plans.
• Participation in the ITT process.
• In-service training of staff
• Administration and supervision of effective infection control procedures.
• Direct provision of a wide range of nursing interventions.
• Effective nursing skills including ability to accurately administer medications and strong health assessment skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• Ability to formulate and implement plans for health teaching/counseling of individuals and training of staff.

hiring rate ($8,416), and Geographic Differential ($20,000). Geographic Differential
added to the job rate ($80,248) for Registered Nurse 1 PS&T Grade 18.
