Minimum Qualifications Minimum requirements include:
•2+ years of scheduling experience
•2+ years of administrative support experience
•Proficiency at Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, Google Docs, Google Calendar
•Valid driver’s license
•High school degree or equivalent
Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that can include long hours, and nights in a highly dynamic environment.

Duties Description The New York State Senate is currently seeking astute, diplomatic, and dedicated individual to fill a full time position as an Executive Assistant at the State Capitol in Albany.
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
•Screening incoming calls, forwarding calls to the appropriate staffer using proper judgment, and taking complete messages when necessary
•Plan, organize and schedule daily appointments and priorities, while anticipating any issues that may arise and identifying appropriate solutions
•Follow up with all parties (high-level officials, organizations, unions, advocates) to confirm meetings, appointments, and cancellations
•Order and replenish office supplies
•Conduct other duties as instructed and/or necessary in order to help keep the office performing at an efficient level in a high-speed environment
•Log in all incoming and outgoing mail and incoming telephone calls
Additional Comments Salary range is $55,000 to $65,000, commensurate with education and experience.
