Minimum Qualifications

Duties Description Under the supervision of the Bear Mountain Office, the incumbent will:
• Be primarily responsible for staffing the Reception Desk in the lobby of the Administration Building.
• Answer a wide variety of frequent phone calls. Provide detailed information, answer questions, and transfer calls as needed.
• Welcome and assist patrons who enter the building. Answer questions and provide information, including maps, directions, and operating hours.
• Greet visitors to the building, manage sign-in sheets, provide direction to offices or meeting spaces.
• Keep up to date on all activities and events in the Region and be able to provide accurate and timely information.
• Assist in other office tasks as assigned, including but not limited to data entry, record keeping, etc.

Additional Comments OPERATING NEEDS:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task. Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal with attention to detail. Must be willing and able to maintain a pleasant and welcoming demeanor. Incumbent will be expected to keep up to date on all activities and events in the Region and all affiliated organizations, as well as have general knowledge of the local area and attractions and be able to provide helpful and informative guidance to park patrons, both in person and over the phone. Must have experience using Microsoft office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must be able to accept direction from supervisors and take initiative to learn and retain new information. Experience in office work is preferred but not necessary.
Position pays $19.27* per hour + location pay as per CESA Contract (*3% raises as of April 2024)
