Minimum Qualifications Permanent transfer candidates: Current Department of Health
(DOH) employee with permanent or contingent-permanent
status as a Medicaid Redesign Analyst 1 (G18).

Public Candidates: Active list candidate on the New York State
Department of Civil Service's Professional Career Opportunities
(PCO) eligible list with a score of 100 OR qualified 55B/C
candidate in possession of a Bachelor's or higher degree.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in health or human service programs. The Bureau of Social Care and Community Supports works to integrate health and human services within the Medicaid program. The bureau is composed of two units, Housing and Social Determinants of Health. This position is withing the Social Determinants of Health Unit.

Duties Description Provide overall professional administrative and technical support for staff within the BMLTC Documentation Review Unit. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Tracking documents submitted by the Managed Long Term Care Plans (the Plans)
• Documenting internal process and procedures
• Reviewing Model Notices that are sent to members by the Plans
• Reviewing other Plan Materials, such as member handbooks and marketing materials
• Reviewing Integrated materials submitted for dual members eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare
• Assisting the bureau with other special projects as needed
