Minimum Qualifications Permanent transfer candidates: Current Department of Health
(DOH) employee with permanent or contingent-permanent
status as a Medicaid Redesign Analyst 1 (G18).

Public Candidates: Active list candidate on the New York State
Department of Civil Service's Professional Career Opportunities
(PCO) eligible list with a score of 100 OR qualified 55B/C
candidate in possession of a Bachelor's or higher degree.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in health or human service programs. The Bureau of Social Care and Community Supports works to integrate health and human services within the Medicaid program. The bureau is composed of two units, Housing and Social Determinants of Health. This position is withing the Social Determinants of Health Unit.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and/or benefits.

Duties Description This individual will assist in implementing and evaluating health reform initiatives with a primary focus on benefits implementation and transactions of Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans. Job duties include, but are not limited to: 1)Assist Bureau of Managed Long Term Care team with a range of system transactions to support benefit implementation and new initiative activities. 2)Coordinate with other agencies to support MLTC evolution projects and scope of benefit transactions 3) Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders that include local social service districts, State agencies, clients, health care providers.
