Minimum Qualifications Applicants should have a desire to advocate for constituent services, the ability to develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders, the capacity to juggle multiple responsibilities, and enjoy working as part of a team.

Strong interpersonal, listening, organizational, and writing skills are required. Case management experience and college experience are preferred.

Duties Description Duties will include fulfilling requests for assistance with various New York State agencies and local governments. The Constituent Services Aide will communicate with constituents and others through telephone calls, written correspondence, and in-person meetings. The Constituent Services Aide will document constituent activity into tracking system, maintain casework files, and submit constituent letters in a timely matter.

•Serves as a caseworker assisting constituents with addressing a range of concerns including, but not limited to: unemployment, liaising with state departments and agencies to resolve constituent issues, answer questions, and address concerns.
•Tracks cases in constituent management system, including intake, tracking, follow-up, and resolution of constituent issues.
•Responds to all constituent inquiries in a timely fashion.
•Maintains relationships with key state agency and local government contacts.
•Writes letter responses for all cases.
•Basic office administrative functions.

Additional Comments This is a full-time position with a salary of $39,000 to $41,000, commensurate with experience and education.
