Minimum Qualifications Non-Competitive Qualifications: One year of clerical experience where most work time is spent performing keyboarding, data entry, chart compilation or arrangement, or various tasks involving typing into computerized systems. The selected candidate must pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates the ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy by completion of probation.

Duties Description The Office Assistant 2 will work in the Office of External Affairs and will provide administrative support for the Division of Council Operations (DCO) in various phases of the Department’s vetting and appointment process. This includes regular preparation of memos, providing assistance with vettings for DOH council and board candidates being considered for appointment. Specific duties include maintaining council records, including working in InterTrac for Councils tracking system and Excel spreadsheets; maintaining accurate reporting of membership and meeting dates; tracking the progress of candidates; proper follow-up with programs; working with DCO staff to answer incoming inquiries pertaining to councils and membership. Other related duties as assigned.
