Minimum Qualifications Current NYS Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive status as a Health Program Administrator 2, G-25 OR a NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive service in a title at or above G-23 and deemed eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 or Section 52.6 of the NYS Civil Service Law.

Preferred Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization and time management skills, proficiency with Excel, Word and SharePoint, and supervisory experience

Duties Description This position will be the Unit Head for the Audits and Regulatory Reporting Units, supervising up to seven staff. The incumbent will manage the audits team that is responsible for coordination and management of 60+ OMIG, OIG, OSC and CMS Audits annually with specific oversight of coordination of responses to the submission and review of audit responses throughout the audit lifecycle, tracking audit findings, monitoring OHIP corrective action implementation progress, and preparation of reports for OHIP management; oversee OHIP's internal controls, providing guidance for assessable units and managers and ensure surveys are submitted in a timely manner; management of the creation and development of dashboard reporting to keep executive-level OHIP management apprised of audit statuses and potential risks to OHIP; manage the regulatory reporting team responsible for contract management of a multi-million dollar utilization review contract; Supervisory responsibilities will include: providing guidance and oversight to two units; assigning and monitoring assignments; reviewing, monitoring and evaluating staff performance; conducting regular staff meetings; and providing for staff development.
