Minimum Qualifications Reachable on the current eligible list for this title OR one year of permanent competitive service as MITS 1, SG-27 OR in a position at the SG-25 level or above deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law or in a title designated appropriate for Section 70.1 transfer of the Civil Service Law.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years of Experience with Managing and Developing the Siebel Platform and
• 5 years of Experience managing and building Enterprise Applications and proficiency with one or multiple programming languages, application architectures, API management, Integrations and testing practices.
• 5 years of Experience with managing teams of 10 or more team members.
• A degree in a related field such as computer science, information technology or a similar discipline

• Experience with Case Matter/Management Systems.

Duties Description The Office of the NYS Attorney General (OAG) is seeking a Manager of Information Technology Services 1 to lead our Enterprise Case Management System team within the Enterprise Applications Section of the Information Technology Bureau. The incumbent will work with the Director of Enterprise Applications to develop procedures and best practices for the development unit.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Act as the Technical lead and point of contact for NYMatters (Enterprise Case Management using Siebel + Oracle cloud DB infrastructure).
• Act as the Application lead for all OAG initiatives, including but not limited to Application Modernization and Content Management Initiative.
• Manage OAG’s current and future Reporting Environment, including but not limited to OBIEE.
• Work closely with the unit director to provide weekly team status reports.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• Work with Business Analysts to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Design, develop & and build web-based applications utilizing various tools and technologies, including but not limited to Siebel.
• Performance testing and remediation of business applications.
• Accessibility testing and remediation of applications and websites.
• Collaborate with the project leads to estimate the delivery timelines, estimate resourcing needs, and identify risks & issues upfront.
• Supervise subordinate staff, including contract employees.
