Duties Description JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) provides high-quality, person-centered services, supports and advocacy to approximately 136,000 individuals with developmental disabilities in New York State. We are guided in our interactions with the people we serve and each other by compassion, dignity, diversity, excellence, and honesty.
Regional Field Office 4 (NYC) is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2. The Admin Assistant will complete assignments and projects for all 5 NYC boroughs and report directly to the Deputy Director.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform administrative duties such as, but not limited to, answering the administrative phone line, responding to inquiries, assisting with correspondence tracking, updating SharePoint and OPWDD databases, monitoring shared mailboxes, issuing correspondence under leadership signature.
• Work within a dynamic and changing work environment utilizing technology such as TEAMS instant messaging and video meetings
• Respond to special requests from Regional Office leadership and which will include coordinating/gathering information then synthesizing and developing reports.
• Synthesize information and provide summaries to regional office leadership as requested
• Assisting with SharePoint data entry and cleanup projects
• Assisting with the coordination of events and meetings
• Support regional field office leadership across all 5 boroughs as needed
• Performing other regional field office duties as assigned
