Transfer Opportunity – Candidates must have permanent status as a Treatment Team Leader Mental Health M-1 and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Sections 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law. To be eligible for transfer under Sections 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law, candidates must have one year of permanent competitive service in a title approved for transfer by the Department of Civil Service within two salary grades or one M-grade of the M-1 level.

Duties Description As a Treatment Team Leader Mental Health, you would have program and administrative responsibility for the treatment activities of an interdisciplinary treatment team and direct and coordinate a total program tailored to the individual needs of clients. You would be responsible for assigning team resources to accomplish goals and evaluating team programs; supervising the maintenance of medical and other records and files pertinent to the treatment and care of patients, and supervise the development of data from records and files for various evaluations or studies; participating in planning and program development committees to determine and influence treatment and therapeutic programs, and serving on committees such as placement, utilization review, medical records review and others, as required; and preparing periodic performance evaluations of subordinates.

This position is eligible for the Downstate Adjustment of $3,400.
