Duties Description The Facilities department at the University at Buffalo invites applications for our Facility Operations Assistant 1 (Utilities) position. Your responsibilities will include:
1. This position will assist in the following tasks supporting the chillers, boilers, cooling towers, ancillary utility equipment and mechanical spaces associated with the Chilled water, Hot Water and Steam systems:
o Inspection
o Preventative maintenance
o Start-up
o Operation
o Diagnostics
o Repair
o Maintenance
o Chemical treatment
o Cleaning
2. Working in this position can lead to growth opportunities toward Plant Utility Assistant, Plant Utility Engineer and other challenging positions.
