Minimum Qualifications To be eligible for appointment, candidates must be reachable on the OMIG promotional list for Medicaid Integrity Specialist 2 OR be a current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a title deemed eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description This position will be located in the Self-Disclosure Unit and will handle day to day oversight of the Unit. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Supervision of Unit staff.
• Management of Unit staff training and development.
• Management of Unit and individual staff workloads including case assignment.
• Management of tracking and resolution for inquiries received through the Unit’s general email boxes and phone line.
• Updating and maintenance of Unit manual and various internal and external forms.
• Unit workflow report creation and analysis utilizing the FACTS/PACS system, the OMIG Dashboard, and any additional systems as directed.
• Participation in the creation and/or presentation of educational materials to OMIG staff and to external stakeholders regarding the Self-Disclosure program.
• Assist in the management of priority projects and executive initiatives as needed.
