Duties Description DUTIES DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities and Duties to include but not limited to:
The Special Review Committee Chairperson reports directly to the Director of Quality Management. The SRC Chairperson supervises the Incident Review Regulatory Compliance Staff and provides back-up support to those functions as needed. The SRC Chairperson provides technical assistance to state operated programs regarding Part 624 & Part 625 regulations (e.g., incident reporting, etc.)

• Acts as the SRC Chairperson and supervises the Incident Review Regulatory Compliance Unit.
• Ensures that Part 624 & Part 625 regulations are followed as well as reviewing completed investigative reports and Chairing the SRC.
• Conducts and creates agenda for SRC Meetings and then ensures publication and circulation of SRC Minutes following said meeting.
• Ensures that all recommendations based on an investigation are communicated to the responsible TTL and then ensures tracking the TTL’s responses to the recommendations.
• Ensures Completion/Reviews Redactions for Jonathan's Law Requests.
• Meets with the Board of Visitors monthly to review completed investigation reports.
• Contributes to Trending and Yearly Trend Analysis per Part 624 regulations.
• Back Up for Incident Review Coordinator of Quality Management.
• Ensures that QM meets obligations for NEO, assists as necessary, and conducts additional staff training as needs are identified:
• Ensures assigned NEO instruction (PRAISE and Individual Rights) is completed. Act as PRAISE Instructor and Train-the-Trainer for PRAISE instruction.
• Trainer for preliminary actions, remedial investigative writing, and IRMA for DDSOO staff.
• Curriculum Development and/or Support New Supervisor Training.
• Serves as the Lead Coordinator for policy development at Capital District DDSO
• Serves as the HCBS Settings Rule Liaison
• Liaison for DQI, IMU, OIIA, Justice Center, NY Connects/APS, OGC, & MHLS related to OPWDD incidents/services.
• Completes special duties as assigned.
