Duties Description The New York State Senate is seeking a full-time Sergeant-at-Arms. Duties include but are not limited to keeping order during the Senate Session, maintaining security in the Capitol, and all Senate offices, as well as protecting the members of the Senate.
Minimum Qualifications Qualifications:
•More than 10 years of law enforcement experience required
•More than 10 years of community policing experience required
•Must have 1 year of NYS Legislative experience
•Current active shooter training
Must be extremely familiar with NYS Senate communications and security protocols.
Additional Comments Salary is $114,000 to $129,500 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
