Minimum Qualifications Possession of a license and current registration to practice psychology in New York State.
Duties Description The selected candidate will act as Team Leader of OnTrackNY, an early psychosis intervention program that provides coordinated and assertive treatment to adolescents and young adults who have recently been diagnosed with a psychotic disorder. Duties will include overseeing multidisciplinary team functioning, supervising team members, and serving as the primary clinician for a subset of OnTrack participants.
As a Licensed Psychologist, you would supervise and/or provide professional psychological services. In addition to assessment and treatment, your duties may include: clinical leadership; program management; forensic or court-ordered assessment, treatment and expert testimony; psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, geropsychology, sex offense treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, trauma, and substance and/or chemical abuse programs; specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, education); design and application of behavioral technology and other specialized psychological interventions; individual, group or family therapy; crisis intervention; consultation to other agencies; training; and peer review.
NOTE:
1. If appointed, you may be required to become an enrolled Medicare provider; obtain and provide to your employer a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number issued by the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES); and otherwise actively participate to the degree necessary to allow for your services to be billed through Medicare and Medicaid. If you are appointed and lose the ability to bill through Medicare and Medicaid, you may be terminated from your employment.

Additional Comments:
This position includes for the Downstate Adjustment of $3,400.
and a $20,000 location adjustment added to the hiring rate of $117,875.
