Duties Description Responsible for the financial management of Federal grant awards including working with grant program managers, monitoring expenditures to assure that they are within Federal guidelines, preparing fiscal reports consistent with Federal reporting requirements, and maintaining records in compliance with Federal audit standards.

Under the direction of the Associate & Chief Budgeting Analysts, assist in the preparation of disbursement reports for agency management and the projection of future needs. Other duties will include the review and preparation of reports related to budget activities required by control agencies.

Responsible for the maintenance of accounts receivable records. This will include spreadsheet tracking of billings and forecasting of receivable amounts, as well as oversight and review of billings and revenue processed by others.

Administer the agency travel and fuel card programs, including managing the shared mailboxes for each, and approving or processing associated transactions.

Administer the financial tracking and billing of Bureau of Criminal Investigation task force participation.

Review and recommend approval or disapproval of purchase requests in assigned fields depending on the need, justification, and availability of funds.

Monitor approved expenditures to ensure that work is done efficiently within established fiscal guidelines, and review expenditures to identify differences between projected and actual, as well as determine reason for such differences.

Assist with expenditure tracking and preparation of consolidated reimbursement requests for federal disaster claims.

Assist with administration or reconciliation of Division bank accounts as needed.

Assist in the preparation of the agency's budget requests based on a knowledge of Division of Budget guidelines, the State Finance Law, relevant agency programs and policies, previous budget requests, and applicable federal policies and rules.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree,

OR

One (1) year satisfactory completion of permanent service in a title allocated to SG-14 or higher with Finance, Purchasing, or Accounting responsibilities,

OR

An Associates degree AND two (2) years' experience relating to the subject position,

OR

At least two (2) years of post-secondary education AND two (2) years' experience relating to the subject position.
