Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
-Supervises correction, revision, and creation of Letter Generator documents.
-Supervises staff that process Unreported Earnings (Cash Wage) claims.
-Supervises staff that process work search audit claims.
-Reviews work of subordinate staff and evaluates it in terms of quantity, quality, and compliance with Unemployment Insurance objectives.
-Works with UI Benefits program areas to write UI Benefits policies and procedures.
-Maintains policies, procedures, and related documents on the UI Benefits section of DOLi.
-Ensures timely and accurate responses to high-priority requests.
-Participates in workgroup meetings as needed.
-Participates in hiring as needed.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You must be a qualified employee of New York State Department of Labor and have had one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as an Investigative Officer 2 (Unemployment Insurance), Senior Administrative Analyst, Senior Auditor, Senior Unemployment Insurance Hearing Representative, Supervising Labor Services Representative, Supervising Labor Services Representative (Chinese Language), Supervising Labor Services Representative (Spanish Language), Unemployment Insurance Accounts Assistant Supervisor, or Unemployment Insurance Accounts Support Supervisor 1. The appointed candidate would have to take, pass and be reachable on the next holding of the examination to be appointed permanently.

70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS:
An employee with one-year permanent competitive service in the following title, may be eligible for transfer:
Associate Unemployment Insurance Security Specialist, Gr-23

Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Additional Comments Candidates with no previous state service will begin at the starting rate of the salary range listed above.
