Duties Description The Program Aide will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Bureau of Administration in support of Division of Family Health programs. Staff are responsible for maintaining several tracking systems by tracking the receipt and processing of all claims associated with > 700 contracts, maintain and update database programs and performing other appropriate paraprofessional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent-permanent service as a Program Aide, Grade 13.
Transfer Opportunity: New York State employee with one or more years of permanent or contingent-permanent service in title at Grade 11 or above, and eligible for transfer to Program Aide, Grade 13, under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience using MS Office in the preparation of documents, spreadsheets, etc. Experience using a financial management system. Experience with data entry of financial information.
