Duties Description Candidate would perform the following tasks:
Data entry based on e-mailed and mailed information; Review report forms for completion and accuracy; Updating information based on Workers’ Compensation policy information; Sending information to insurance carriers about their policyholders’ statuses; Answering the phone and responding to general questions about the program or taking a message when necessary.
Candidate would learn how to:
Read and understand regulations and how they are applied; Look up, enter, and edit information in an Access database; Evaluate confidentiality rules and determine whether information may be released to outside stakeholders; Correspond professionally with outside stakeholders; Review & evaluate safety programs from various industries; Respond to increasingly complex questions from businesses & insurance carriers.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a student currently enrolled in upcoming/current college courses.
Preferred Skill sets:
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications (primarily Outlook, Excel, and Access); professional communication, data entry accuracy, and research.

Public Health

Preferred maximum education level: Graduate Student
