Duties Description • Plan, organize, and assign staff to work on ensuring business processes and requirements are implemented.
• Analyze and review "as-is" and "to-be" business processes or functions and process models.
• Communicate business process requirements to vendor staff, IT staff, program staff, and stakeholders.
• Analyze the impact of changes to IT system requirements or business processes and evaluates project timelines and priorities.
• Monitor system testing and assesses the impact of errors on system functioning during and after implementation.
• Work directly with stakeholders to resolve issues with design specification, defects and facilitate resolution
• Schedule and assign staff to write system documentation and facilitate training the users on new IT system or business process functions.
• Review documentation, reports, and recommendations prepared by staff.
• Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities for a staff of Project Assistants.
• Work with Procurement Services Group stakeholders to understand business needs for eProcurement.
Minimum Qualifications NOTE: IN ORDER TO AWARD THE PROPER CREDIT FOR WORK EXPERIENCE, RESUMES MUST INCLUDE MONTH AND YEAR FOR START AND END DATES. IF ANY OF THIS EXPERIENCE IS LESS THAN FULL TIME YOU MUST INDICATE THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK.
A bachelor’s degree and four years of the specialized experience*. A master's degree or higher may substitute for one year of specialized experience. One year of the experience must have been at a supervisory level.
Specialized experience includes: Professional experience in project management which must include planning and at least three other of the management process groups: origination (including governance/work intake, portfolio management, capacity/demand planning); initiating; executing; controlling; and closing. This experience must include the development of project management deliverables, such as scope, statements, schedules, budgets, quality plans, risk plans, and communication plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or CAPM certification.
