Salary RangeFrom $118425 to $145039 Annually
Duties Description Duties include but not limited to:
* Responsible for the management and oversight of its highly complex, cross divisional and intra-agency DRIVES Program; for providing program and project management services to DMV’s business units.
* Responsible for overseeing the allocation of resources by subordinate Project Managers, while working on multiple top priority projects.
* The incumbent operates with considerable autonomy in the planning, organizing, conducting and coordination of activities to best achieve predetermined objectives in the areas of project management, business process improvement, business analysis, technology procurement, governance and technology strategic planning.
Minimum Qualifications To be eligible for the Project Manager 5, G-29 position you must meet one of the following conditions as detailed below:
Transfer:
One year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service allocated to a G-27 or higher eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 or Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law, or currently serving in the title and eligible for reassignment.
Provisional Appointment*:
One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as a Project Manager 4.
Reinstatement:
If you previously served in this title or in a title otherwise transferable to this title, you may be considered for reinstatement pursuant to Civil Service Law, if it is in the best interest of the agency. If you left state service more than one year ago, the reinstatement must also be approved by the Civil Service Commission. All reinstatements must serve a mandatory 52-week probation period.
Additional Comments Hours of the position will be discussed at the time of interview, including questions regarding Flextime, AWS/Compressed work week and Telecommuting.
