Duties Description Under the direction of the Park Manager 3, SG-23, the selected candidate will provide a variety of office and clerical assistance with occasional field assignments. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Complete general office support duties such as answering phones, taking messages, filing, copying, and scanning documents while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize paper and electronic filing systems.
• Assist with physical file retention and storage; occasionally move training materials and office supplies to/from storage.
• Create, update, and maintain records in spreadsheets and databases.
• Reconcile reports with spreadsheet information.
• Create recruitment or event materials such as flyers or invitations.
• Search for information using various sources including the internet and calls.
• Obtain quotes and place approved orders.
• Create and file expense reports for approval.
• Complete forms in accordance with agency procedures.
• Schedule appointments, confirm appointments, and maintain event calendars.
• Track and coordinate assignments.
• May assist with trainings and/or orientation for new staff.
• May take meeting minutes and/or prepare material from dictation.

Additional Comments OPERATIONAL NEEDS:
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that allows the candidate to legally operate a motor vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task
• Must have skilled computer abilities in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel.
• Must be physically able to go up and down stairs.
• Must be physically able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Weekend/holiday/evening availability may be occasionally required for special events.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• High school or equivalency diploma.
• College degree with coursework in accounting or auditing.
