Duties Description This position is part of a team that manages the University’s main receiving dock as well as the Receiving and Supply Warehouse, which stocks supplies most frequently used by Facilities Management staff. The Facilities Operations Assistant plays a critical operational role by receiving, stocking and disbursing warehouse items as well as delivering packages to faculty and staff across campus. This position also works with the Moving Shop when needed to move furniture and other items on campus to support University operations.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. When required to operate motor vehicles, incumbents must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.
This position may be filled from a mandatory reemployment list if one is in effect at the time of appointment.

Ability to use a forklift
Ability to use a pallet jack
Ability to drive a truck with Air Brakes
Valid NYS Driver's License
