Duties Description Perform assigned activities in support of the Division of Environmental Remediation program. Prepare tables and other supporting documentation. Assist engineers by performing simple calculations. Coding and routing invoices. Health & Safety equipment tracking, management and documentation. Vehicle management and documentation. Open spills tracking. Maintaining regional emergency response plan and inventory of office supplies. Scheduling training. Maintaining spill response duty roster. Maintaining tracking system for enforcement cases. Compile data (names and addresses) in proper electronic format for Division directed Listserv initiative. Assist program with FOIL requests. Assist with processing bulk storage applications. Assist with filing of documents in the electronic database. Scanning documents for electronic file management.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with providing support in electronic filing systems, project tracking, administrative budgeting and staff scheduling. Applicant must be versed in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point. Applicant must also have the ability to multi-task. Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications There are no minimum education or experience requirements for this title.
Additional Comments This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 3/31/2027, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date.
Telecommuting may be available, will be discussed at interview.
