Duties Description Daily transport of interoffice and postal mail, including pickups at local post offices and DOH mailrooms, deliveries to 7 Capital area DOH locations and pickups at the OGS Distribution Center. Vehicle maintenance such as battery and tire pressure checks; coordinate oil changes and other regular servicing; car washes; coordination of vehicle repairs, new tire installation, etc. when needed at local servicing stations. Removal of surplus equipment and furniture from Capital area DOH locations. Sit-to-stand desk assembly, light repairs to cubicles, white board hanging, etc. Annual transport of displays and other items to NYS Fair; occasional transport of various items to DOH locations in other parts of NYS.

Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess a New York State Driver’s License
appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated. Candidates may be required to
possess a CDL Class A, B, C or General Class D license
