Duties Description Assist with day-to-day operations including acting as a liaison between the different bureaus of DMDD, scheduling meetings, and facilitating meetings.
Schedule meetings with external and internal parties. Coordinate Division wide meetings including preparing agendas and presentations.
Assist with maintaining, reviewing, and editing of bureau manual and fee schedule publications. Support DMDD staff in the annual revisions and updating of policy and procedure code manuals throughout DMDD Bureaus.
Assist with updating/tracking reference file and combo edit requests division wide.
Assist assigned staff with coordinating, organizing, and follow-up on projects
Support DMDD staff with various projects through the bureaus. Track project, tasks, completion of tasks, catalog documentation, and support project until completion and implementation.
Use of available resources, tools, and software to develop efficient methods of tracking and cataloging information such as SharePoint Lists, SharePoint Forms, Power Automate etc.
Assisting with updating, reviewing, and editing existing regulations, statutes, and state plan amendments
Support DMDD staff with regulatory review, tracking changes and editing within regs, statutes, and state plan amendments.
Assisting with communications and education including Medicaid Updates, DOH website updates, eMedNY listservs, provider communications, and presentations. Support DMDD in the development and maintenance of internal and external communications, including but not limited to Medicaid Update articles, eMedNY listserv updates, internal and external procedures, etc. Participate in meetings with DMDD staff to develop communications. Track communications to ensure timely updates and maintenance to documentation.
Minimum Qualifications NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service as a Program Aide, G-13 or a current NYS employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a title allocated to G-11 or higher, and eligible for transfer to Program Aide under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills. Familiar with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
