Duties Description Duties include but are not limited to:??
• Supervise grant,and serve as lead HESC contact for all inquiries pertaining to these programs, providing technical guidance and assistance with program operations. Oversee drafting of well-crafted responses and responses to inquiries regarding awards and the program, from constituents, partners, interested parties.
• Oversee the collaboration with partners including HESC’s digital team, call center, and ITS.????
• Supervise and coordinate the work of various programs within the Grants and Scholarships Division.??
• Supervise subordinate professional staff, especially Higher Education Services Analyst 1s and serve as unit chief/manager for one or more program areas within the division.
• Liaise with other parties (such as other staff at HESC or the staff of other agencies), present at conferences, and perform other communication or coordination duties.?
• Manage the development and utilization of existing and new resources, including technologies.?
• Play key role in the preparation of draft regulations to assist in the administration of grant programs. Analyze statutes and regulations to make determinations regarding program eligibility.
• Represent HESC at conferences and informational forums on the various award programs administered by HESC.
• Identify needed operational improvements and oversee their implementation.?
• Perform other duties as assigned?

Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Reassignment: Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as a Higher Education Services Analyst 2.

Eligible List Appointment to Higher Education Services Analyst 2 - Candidates who are reachable on the Civil Service eligible list may be considered for appointment.
